The Challenge of AI and ET-NHI and a Possible Way Out

The Challenge of AI and ET-NHI and a Possible Way Out Giorgio Piacenza If Artificial Intelligence and Extraterrestrial Non-Human Intelligence are capable of surpassing us in every intellectual task, including memory and physical world productions, and can even produce art, poetry, and music that moves our souls, all while solving difficult scientific and mathematical problems (such as finding mathematical equations that make quantum physics and general relativity compatible), then the presence of both AI and more powerful and advanced ET-NHI will challenge our sense of worth as unique beings. We may feel that we are too slow and limited to keep up, and that our fundamental belief and interpretive systems are inadequate or outdated. This could be a good thing to spur an increasing number of us to overcome our limitations and self-destructive ways, or it could lead us to a sense of meaninglessness. Regardless, AI will also accelerate change, and our capacity to pay attention, p...

Two Essays in the Works:: Reconciling Theories About Reality & Human Adaptation to Trans-Ontological Entities

Reconciling Theories About Reality by Means of Understanding Fundamental Ontological Differences By Giorgio Piacenza I propose that the ontological differences between realms of existence produce the characteristics found in what we may consider the different levels of the "paranormal" (including those spacetime-challenging characteristics found in quantum mechanical phenomena).  The productions of these differences would also apply to how sub-realms (in each major realm) interact both between major realms and within a particular major realm. These differences would express in terms of relative potential and actual states of reality understood under the polar perspectives of absolute unity and illusory separation.  Ontological differences between realms could also elucidate a common basis between the main interpretations of quantum mechanics and solve the philosophical (dualist) dichotomy between idealism and materialism as mutually exclusive monisms. Human Adaptation to Tran...

A Subtle Non-Physical Realm Makes Incompatible Physical Theories Compatible

Why can’t multiple, valid interpretations of quantum mechanics coexist or be equally correct? Because mathematics doesn’t allow it? OK, but under an expanded philosophical metaphysical understanding (that may be more fundamental than the fact that until now the mathematics don’t match), these interpretations could be compatible. The mathematics can follow. According to human experience and ancient wisdom traditions, the non-physical subtle, mental, or astral realm is ontologically real in its own right. But we can also consider it ontologically potential with respect to the physical universe, This would be a key issue that impinges on the mysteries of quantum physics. So, from a higher, more inclusive logic that uses a "both-and" premise (like that of Archie J. Bahm’s “Organicism” and in integral and transdisciplinary thinking --- check it out), it can be understood as both real and potentially real. In that sense, it is deterministic (compatible with Bohm-Hinley’s pilot wav...

Inter-Reality Portals: Wormholes Related to Consciousness?

Inter-Reality Portals: Wormholes Related to Consciousness? By Giorgio Piacenza   Introduction Many scientists believe we are more likely to travel to other star systems through wormholes than by Faster Than Light technology. In other words, they think Stargate is a more likely scenario than Star Trek. In this paper, I am going to explore the possibility of another kind of wormhole. In relation to UAP “anomalous” phenomena are we dealing with something different to the standard relativistic interpretation about wormholes focused on quantitative, massive applications of energy, limited to connecting different spacetime coordinates and/or different universes? Is there a key role for consciousness in non-human “UAP science?”               First, materialist ufology is insufficient to understand the ...
